MEET: Sujan Majakoti
Gloval Vision Primary School is located in Pasachaur town, in the mountainous Lumjung District. Pasachaur lies at the distance of one and half hour's walk from the district headquarters and as such, has remained aloof from the rest of the district and was indifferent towards the progress it was witnessing in the neighboring communities for many years. Most of the villagers are dry land farmers, but because this does not produce enough food, they must also be labor workers to be able to earn bread. At first glance, one can easily see how much malnutrition and poor hygiene is prevailing in the community. Over the past few years, the student population at Gloval Vision Primary School has grown rapidly, and the current facilities can no longer adequately accommodate the students. After meeting with school officials and community leaders and assessing the school's most pressing issues and needs, Trivani chose to build a new bathroom for the school. The current bathrooms were not only insufficient but also dilapidated and dangerous. The new latrines will help provide a safer and cleaner environment for your sponsored student. The construction work will be completed by the end of November.
